New Moon Eclipse Sound Bath

Today we find ourself sitting with a strong cosmic energetic shift, probably the most significant cosmic event of the year! The New Moon this month is going through a full solar eclipse which creates big changes energetically, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

When you think about what is actually cosmically happening during an eclipse, the moon completely blocks out the light of the sun for a short moment in time and earth is completely without light. As we encounter the darkness, we feel the energetic shift and our world is effected in a very powerful way.

Throughout time, in many cultures across the world we have seen eclipses representing death and rebirth. It gives us permission to let go of our old ways, negative thought patterns, held trauma, maybe relationships that bring us pain.

Some cultures employ that you stay inside and practice rituals when we go through this shift for protection as we transition into a ‘new life’. Something I personally like to practice too.

The New Moon represents the beginning of a cycle, that symbol of rebirth so that is why this energy is so potent as we’re experiencing combines energies.

To honour our New Moon Solar Eclipse this April, I thought I would share a 10 minute mediatation and sound bath with you so you can join in on the ritual.

I would recommend you find yourself a comfortable space, set an intention, thinking about what you would like to release and additionally what you are manifesting in as you transform into a new version of yourself. Maybe even write it down in a journal and even burn the piece of paper as a symbol of rising from the ashes, just like a Phoenix.

Remember, this is a very powerful time and the veil of the physical and spiritual world is lifted so be prepared to go through a rapid transformation. This can feel uncomfortable as would any physical rapid transformation. If you need to let our a cry, don’t resist. In order to heal we need to feel so express yourself in the way you feel called to.
